Frequently asked questions
1. Are your pigments mineral or synthetic?
SHINE cosmetic tattoo pigments are divided into organic and inorganic, based on their chemical formulas. Organic pigments create a watercolor effect. Inorganic pigments provide good coverage and are long-lasting. The appropriate combination of organic and inorganic ingredients produces excellent coverage and natural color shades. The pigments contain water, isopropyl alcohol, and approved dyes.
The micronized pigment particle size is specifically reduced, providing quick implantation, remarkable retention, and long-lasting results – it’s the ideal solution for masters!
Pigment compositions guarantee good coverage, long-lasting durability, and allow the creation of a bright palette of truly modern pigments.
Quality is confirmed by state certifications and laboratory test results.
2. Are your pigments thin or thick?
SHINE pigments are liquid and well-suited for powder spraying.
3. Are your pigments suitable for hair technology?
Positive reviews experimentally prove that SHINE pigments successfully apply to hair styling. Choose warm shades from the palette to create a hairstyle.
4. Do your pigments require dilution or mixing?
For working in powder technique, we recommend that novice artists use SHINE pigments with the brow mix card, which can be obtained from us upon request.
To achieve a more transparent, watercolor effect, you can use the MIXING SOLUTION thinner. To work in hair technique, choose warmer shades from the palette.
5. How to distinguish between the old and new palette?
The brand new palette is already on sale. From the old line, at the request of craftsmen, two colors, the old Dark Chocolate and Cocoa, were retained, which contained glycerin. If you need these specific shades, in the new palette you can buy them under the new names, Mocha and Cinnamon, respectively.
6. Are your pigments used in manual techniques?
SHINE pigments have a liquid consistency, so they are not used for manual work.
7. What colors can be used for areolas?
A natural beige or powder shade depending on preferences for healed color with a drop of cherry smoothie.
8. Are your pigments used for tricopigmentation?
Yes, to achieve a volume effect, the manufacturer recommends combining latte and cocoa.
9. How are pigments removed with laser?
A laser allows the removal of pigment from very small and sensitive areas such as lips, eyebrows, eyelids. Our pigments are adapted for work in powder technique, ideally for powder spray, in which case removal will be through a suitably warm tone, which can easily be covered with a cooler dark shade. Examples of removals are available from us on request.
10. What is the shelf life of your pigments?
Once the bottle is opened, the pigment can be used for 1 year.
11. Do your pigments not dry out?
No, with SHINE there are no problems either during work or storage, provided the cap is tightly closed.
12. Are your pigments certified in Poland?
Yes, all documents can be found on the website or obtained upon request.
